INHOFE APPLAUDS BOEING MOVE TO OKC

WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Sen. Jim Inhofe (R-Okla.), a senior member of the Senate Armed Services Committee (SASC), today applauded the news that Boeing will relocate the C-130 Avionics Modernization Program (AMP) and B-1 Program from Long Beach, California to Oklahoma City, bringing 550 new positions to the Oklahoma City area over the next two years.

“This is great news for the Oklahoma City area, our state’s economy, and for Tinker Air Force Base,” Inhofe said.  “Our state’s quality work force, standard of living, and strong aviation sector are all solid factors in drawing these new Boeing jobs.”
