WASHINGTON – U.S. Sen. Jim Inhofe (R-Okla.), released the following statement after the Senate confirmed Chairman Ajit Pai for a second term as Chairman of the United States Federal Communications Commission:

“As chairman of the FCC, Ajit Pai has demonstrated solid leadership by promoting effective, light-touch regulations and enacting meaningful reforms to promote transparency. Chairman Pai understands the important role the FCC has in developing our nation’s infrastructure, and I am pleased he was confirmed to another five-year term.”
