Inhofe Applauds Senate Passage of Fellow Oklahoman

U.S. Sen. Jim Inhofe (R-Okla.), member of the Senate Commerce, Science and Transportation Committee, praised the Senate passage of fellow Oklahoman Dr. Kelvin Droegemeier’s nomination yesterday. Droegemeier was nominated by President Trump to serve as the Director of the Office of Science and Technology Policy. His nomination passed through committee in September.

“I am glad the Senate confirmed fellow Oklahoman Dr. Kelvin Droegemeier to be Director of the Office of Science and Technology Policy. The President requires the most well-qualified advisors and Dr. Droegemeier provides the experience and ability necessary to get the job done right. I am thankful for his years of service to Oklahoma and I look forward to working alongside him in this new role.”

Inhofe applauded the nomination in August and introduced Droegemeier ahead of his confirmation hearing later that month.
