WASHINGTON, D.C. - On the 37th anniversary of the Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision, U.S. Sen. Jim Inhofe (R-Okla.) made the following statement today commending the efforts of advocacy groups such as March For Life and National Right to Life for promoting the pro-life message:

“Each year on this date thousands descend upon Capitol Hill and the United States Supreme Court, spreading the message that all must honor and protect the sanctity of life,” said Inhofe. “Though the fight to end abortion may feel like an uphill battle when facing a Democratic majority and Supreme Court that chooses a fictional right to privacy over the God-given right to life, your dedication and fortitude will prevail. You may rest assured that I, and so many of my colleagues, will never give up on the fight to end this deplorable practice. I believe, as you do, that the right to life of each human being, including the unborn, is to be preserved and protected. Your efforts today demonstrate that the right to life is undeniable, that every child is a blessing, and that abortion is not the only option for women facing this decision.”
