Yesterday, U.S. Sen. Jim Inhofe (R-Okla.) joined the Mayor’s Council of Oklahoma for a video conference to address the impact of COVID-19 and relief packages:
“I was very thankful to meet with 26 Oklahoma mayors yesterday to discuss how they each have handled the coronavirus response within their towns and cities,” said Inhofe. “ The CARES Act included substantial resources for the State of Oklahoma and local governments. As Congress debates the next relief package, I wanted to hear from them directly about how that bill worked for their communities and how the next relief package can continue to address their needs. As a former Mayor, I am always grateful to work alongside these leaders and look forward to continuing to receive their input on behalf of the families, individuals and small businesses across our state.
