INHOFE HONORS ALTUS AND NATION'S ARMED FORCES

WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Sen. Jim Inhofe (R-Okla.), a senior member of the Senate Armed Services Committee, today hosted the 48th Annual Quail Breakfast honoring the proud men and women who serve at Altus Air Force Base and the community that supports them.

“I am honored to be apart of this wonderful and long-lasting tradition,” said Inhofe.  “Today I met with the people from Altus and the leaders of our Air Force. I am humbled by their dedication and selfless service to our country.  We owe them a debt of gratitude for their continued devoted service. As I continue to represent Oklahoma’s best interests, I will fight to increase funding to our U.S. military to ensure our servicemen and women are the best trained and equipped in the world.

Inhofe continued, “I applaud the efforts of citizens of Altus as they continue to serve people on and off Altus Air Force Base.  Altus defines the gold standard for local communities taking care of Airmen. Their hospitality, kindness, and strong community support make Altus one of the strongest military installations in the country.”
