WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, U.S. Senator Jim Inhofe (R-Okla.) welcomed the opportunity to meet with nearly 50 4-H students from across Oklahoma in Washington for the annual “Citizenship Washington Focus” leadership conference in D.C.
“I was proud to meet with Oklahoma’s 4-H students in Washington for the ‘Citizenship Washington Focus’ leadership conference,” Senator Inhofe said. “Every county in Oklahoma benefits from a 4-H presence and their members conducted over 300,000 hours of community service activities in Oklahoma last year. As Oklahoma 4-H celebrates its centennial in 2009, Oklahomans can be proud of the lasting impact these youth have had throughout the history of our state and nation.”
