U.S. Sen. Jim Inhofe (R-Okla.) praised President Trump’s latest sanctions against North Korea. The sanctions came as Sen. Inhofe was meeting with U.S. military personnel and Republic of Korea partners about the North Korean threat.

“Today, I visited the Joint Security Area and talked with U.S. military personnel and our Republic of Korea partners at the DMZ about the serious threat North Korea poses. After discussions with the ROK Defense and Foreign Ministers, it is clear to see North Korea’s commitment to their nuclear program and their continued aggression through the execution of ballistic missile tests. Diplomatic and economic pressure is having an effect on the regime in Pyongyang. Today’s sanctions, the strongest yet, will continue to show our steadfast commitment to our allies in South Korea and the denuclearization of North Korea.”
