U.S. Sen. Jim Inhofe
(R-Okla.) this week received the Marine Corps League’s 2020 Military Order
of the Iron Mike Award, as nominated by the 38th Commandant of the Marine
Corps, General David H. Berger, USMC.
Military Order of the Iron Mike is the most prestigious annual award of
the Marine Corps League and is named after the iconic memorial located at
Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, South Carolina. The Military
Order of the Iron Mike is presented each September to an individual
who has made substantial and prominent contributions to the United States of
America and to the U.S. Marine Corps.
