WASHINGTON – U.S. Sen. Jim Inhofe (R-Okla.), senior member of the U.S. Senate Environment and Public Works (EPW) Committee and member of the U.S. Senate Commerce, Science, and Transportation Committee, today released a statement following President Trump’s executive action to advance the Keystone XL and Dakota Access pipelines.
“The completion of these important pipelines is long overdue and great news for domestic energy producers, our economy and our national security,” Inhofe said. “Keystone XL and Dakota Access will create thousands of jobs across the country and in Oklahoma as we take a crucial step toward energy independence. I look forward to working with the president to remove the regulatory barriers that have hindered the buildout of our nation’s energy infrastructure.”
