Inhofe Talks Tax Overhaul and Veterans on the Radio

U.S. Sen. Jim Inhofe (R-Okla.) spoke on the radio yesterday about important topics including tax reform, enhancing veteran care and government reform.

Sen. Inhofe and Charlie Taraboletti of KWON Radio in Bartlesville talked tax reform and veterans.

On how tax reform will help Oklahomans:

“There is an independent group called The Tax Foundation that makes an evaluation—They’re not Democrat, Republican—they’re all economists… They have said the bottom line in the state of Oklahoma is the average family of four is going to increase their income by $2,000 per year.”

On the GDP increase under President Trump:

“For every 1 percent increase in economic activity, that translates into 3 trillion dollars of additional revenue. Now, that’s something that has always happened and during the Obama Administration, we only increased—during his eight years—the economy only increased 1.5 percent a year. Already, in the second and third quarter of the Trump Administration, it’s increased 3 percent.”
