FREDERICK, OK — On Friday, June 9 at 11:00 a.m. CST, U.S. Sen. Jim Inhofe (R-Okla.), member of the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science and Transportation, will host a ribbon cutting celebrating the completion of the resurfacing on the Frederick Municipal Airport runway. Inhofe worked with the U.S. Air Force to secure funding for the runway resurfacing.
Inhofe will also highlight his legislation the Forward Looking Investment in General Aviation, Hangars, and Tarmacs (FLIGHT) Act of 2017, which he will be introducing in the Senate in coming weeks.
