Today, U.S. Sen. Jim Inhofe (R-Okla.), toured the Hale Scout Reservation in Talihina, Okla., and visited with Boy Scouts and troop leaders. Inhofe also engaged with Scouts working to earn their Citizenship in the Nation merit badge.
Earlier this spring, the Indian Nations Council of Boy Scouts of America announced the dedication of The Senator James M. Inhofe Education Complex at the camp.
This complex will support the thousands of youth who utilize a summer camp experience to advance through the Scout merit badge program on their trail to becoming Eagle Scouts. This summer, over 5,000 participants will enjoy scout camp in June and July at the Hale Scout Reservation.
