WASHINGTON – U.S. Sen. Jim Inhofe (R-Okla.) met with members of the Enid Chamber of Commerce yesterday in Washington. They discussed a variety of current legislative priorities, including continuing success seen under tax reform and fighting back against the socialist Green New Deal.
“The Enid Chamber of Commerce has proven themselves a real asset to the Enid community over the years by bringing a unified voice to the state and federal level,” Inhofe said. “They always have thoughtful insights on key issues when we visit, including the success of tax reform and how we continue to see benefits in the Enid community and throughout Oklahoma. We also talked about the absurd Green New Deal and how far-fetched the Democrats socialist agenda has become.
“I am especially proud of Vance Air Force Base, which calls the proud military-friendly community of Enid home. The 71st Flying Training Wing in Enid continues to develop professional Airmen, deliver world-class pilots and deploy combat-ready warriors.”
