Inhofe Visits with McAlester Community in Washington

Today, U.S. Sen. Jim Inhofe (R-Okla.), met with the McAlester community as part of the McAlester Defense Support Association's annual McAlester Stampede, their annual fly-in trip to Washington. The group discussed a number of topics, including Inhofe’s work to fight against the Biden administration’s liberal agenda, securing wins for Oklahoma in this year’s NDAA and his continued efforts to uphold Oklahoma values in Congress.

“It is always a pleasure to visit with the McAlester community in Washington,” Inhofe said. “We had a very productive conversation about strengthening our national defense by providing continued support for the McAlester Army Ammunition Plant. We also discussed the  devastating  consequences that Biden’s unconstitutional vaccine mandate is having on the ability to keep and hire hundreds of highly trained federal employees and contractors.

“The McAlester Defense Support Association works incredibly hard to support the McAlester community and ensure military readiness for one of Oklahoma’s most important military installations. I am proud of all we have been able to accomplish together over the years, and I look forward to continuing to work with them to overcome the failed policies of the Biden administration and ensure Oklahomans are heard in Washington.”
