U.S. Sen. Jim Inhofe (R-Okla.) spoke with the State Chamber of Oklahoma today during their annual visit to Washington. Inhofe discussed the successes Oklahoma has seen as a result of joint efforts between the Senator and President Trump and the work they are doing to build on this momentum.
“My visits with the State Chamber of Oklahoma are always great opportunities for me to hear from folks across the state, including small business owners, large employers, local chambers, economic development organizations and non-profit organizations. This year was no different.
“The State Chamber has done an outstanding job making Oklahoma the best place to live and work, and I am proud to advocate for their priorities in Congress. By working together, we ensure Oklahomans continue to have their voice heard in Washington and can fight for shared priorities, including repealing job-killing regulations and investing in local infrastructure across the State.”
Fred Morgan, President and CEO of the State Chamber of Oklahoma, praised the Senator’s work for Oklahoma:
“Sen. Inhofe’s steadfast leadership over the years is something the State Chamber of Oklahoma can always count on. As chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee, the senator continues to work hard for the people of Oklahoma on a number of issues, including improving infrastructure, cutting red-tape and ensuring the priorities of the chamber and the state are fought for in Congress.”
