Inhofe Votes for Gold Star Families Voices Act

WASHINGTON – U.S. Sen. Jim Inhofe (R-Okla.) today voted for H.R. 4511, The Gold Star Families Voices Act, which authorizes the Library of Congress Veterans History Project (VHP) to collect audio and video recordings of biographical histories by immediate family members of service members who died as a result of their wartime service or became missing in action.

I am proud to vote for the Gold Star Families Voice Act so that the legacies of our service members who made the ultimate sacrifice are remembered,” Inhofe said. “By allowing our Gold Star families to provide accounts and histories of these heroes, we ensure their lives are memorialized for generations to come.”
