WASHINGTON—U.S. Sen. Jim Inhofe (R-Okla.), member of the U.S. Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship, today voted to confirm Linda McMahon as small business administrator. She was confirmed by a vote of 79–19.
“Small businesses are vital to Oklahoma and make up over 97 percent of all employers,” Inhofe said. “For this reason I am glad to see Linda leading the SBA. She is a successful businesswoman herself and understands the burdens heavy-handed government regulations place on businesses. If we overregulate small businesses, our economy will suffer. I look forward to working with Linda to cut red tape while improving the small business environment in both Oklahoma and across the country.”
