After voting yesterday to protect individuals with pre-existing conditions, U.S. Sen. Jim Inhofe (R-Okla.) voted today in opposition of a Democrat proposal that would prohibit the Department of Justice from advocating against any changes to Obamacare.
“Yesterday, I voted in favor of a commonsense proposal from Sen. Tillis that would have protected those with pre-existing conditions,” said Inhofe. “As is typical, Democrats put messaging over doing what’s right and blocked it—in the same fashion that they blocked our COVID relief package last month that also included protections for those with pre-existing conditions. Despite Democrat obstruction, President Trump signed an executive order last week to protect those with pre-existing conditions.
"It comes as no surprise that Sen. Schumer tried to message his way out of this position by pulling a vote stunt to block any litigation against Obamacare. Schumer showed again today that Senate Democrats are only willing to play politics instead of actually doing what the American people need."
