WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, U.S. Senator Jim Inhofe (R-Okla.) congratulated Fred Morgan, the new President and CEO of The State Chamber.
“The State Chamber’s mission is a very important one, especially in today’s economic environment,” said Inhofe. “Therefore, I am pleased that Fred Morgan has been chosen to head the organization as I am confident he will be a strong and able leader. Fred’s knowledge of the Oklahoma business community will serve the state well and I look forward to working with him to preserve Oklahoma’s tradition of facilitating economic growth.”
Morgan, a small businessman and attorney, is serving as general counsel and senior policy advisor to the Oklahoma State Senate Leadership. He served in the Oklahoma House of Representatives from 1994-2006 where he was recognized for outstanding service by organizations including Oklahoma Farm Bureau, Oklahoma Sheriffs Association, American Legislative Exchange Council and the Research Institute for Economic Development.
