U.S. Sen. Jim Inhofe (R-Okla.), chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee, today praised the Senate confirmation of William Jordan Gillis to be Assistant Secretary of Defense for Sustainment. 

“Last night after the Senate passed the CARES Act, we also confirmed Jordan Gillis to be Assistant Secretary of Defense for Sustainment," Inhofe said. "Charged with our crucial installation infrastructure as well as sustainment and our incredible organic industrial base, Mr. Gillis will play an essential role in responding to the COVID-19 crisis within the military. I am also glad that we will have Senate-confirmed leadership managing the Military Housing Privatization Initiative as we work to clean up this program and ensure we are take care of our military families. I want to thank Mr. Gillis for stepping into this important role, and I congratulate him on his confirmation.”
